you revive
all my words of love
from our green moments
a present you present me
one bright afternoon
There they are. Every verse I ever wrote, on every card I ever gave. All typed in Times-New Roman font in a word file.
You print me the file you created out of my own words of love. It’s a gift I still treasure.
March Nor’easter
a winter’s last roar delays
only delays Spring
Nothing prevents its new life
Nothing eclipses our love

Through storms and languid days – love abides as does the seasons.

Wow! What a gift. I love this sparse tanka, the prose and poems work really well together. And thank you for the reminder that spring is only delayed, not cancelled.

Nor’easters provide wonderful opportunities for coziness. I remember one in 1999 very fondly. My son Max came nine months later.

I like the idea of the potential delays but no eclipses.
