Onward!
May arrives this week! So many themes to choose from: May 4th is Star Wars Day (May the fourth be with you! ;)), It’s late cherry blossom season (osozakura), and the Roman Catholic tradition honors Mary with its first of two Marian Months. So why choose? We can have them all!
This week, write the haikai poem of your choice (haiku, senryu, haibun, tanka, haiga, renga, etc.) that alludes or references one (or more) of the motifs in our medley: Star Wars Day, Late Cherry blossom (osozakura) or Mary (Marian month)
As always:
Hereโs how the challenge works:
1. write the haikai poem of your choice.
2. post the link of your post to Mister Linky.
3. pingback by posting the link to the challenge on your site.
4. read and comment on other contributorsโ posts.
For those completing a thirty-in-thirty: rejoice! The end is near! ๐
And may this May bring you flowers!
