Osiarian Relics: A #FreestyleFriday (5/11/18) #writephoto #haibun

fallen1

See where standing stones fell. Witness the last embrace of Earth by two fallen Tuatha De Danann. Shed your tears on their cold granite corpses, sheltered by some cosp of oak and maple. Nothing more can you hope to do for them, you sons and daughters of Celts.

Your ancestors hungered for new land and thirsted for conquest. Their descendents fell to others possessed of the same appetite. All to this day, where you stand vigil over the last of the Goddess’ children. Do you wonder who will conquer you?
