How are those lawns looking, haijin? Congratulations to last week’s contributors
Ultreya!
Today is our 17th wedding anniversary. (Thank you, thank you; no, really, you shouldn’t have ;)) During our wedding, I remember seeing the sky shortly after sunset. It was a true sailor’s delight, and it still carries the allure of romance all these years later. What better summer kigo for our anniversary than afterglow (yuuyake)?
This week, write the haikai poem of your choice (haiku, senryu, haibun, tanka, haiga, renga, etc.) that states or alludes to afterglow (yuuyake).
As always:
Here’s how the challenge works:
1. write the haikai poem of your choice.
2. post the link of your post to Mister Linky.
3. pingback by posting the link to the challenge on your site.
4. read and comment on other contributors’ posts.
A post acknowledging past contributors will come!
Savor the love, haijin! 🙂
