a catlike silhouette
slips into darkness
automatic floodlight
bathes the patio pavers
Following the path
lit by this luminous hue
hunter’s moon
How I wish I would
embrace the wild
savoring
a moment on the deck
Autumn night
a mere handful of seen stars
oh, but this hunter’s moon!
