Enjoy your longest day/night, haijin? Congratulations to last week’s contributors:
Haikai Challenge ParticipantsPowered by… Mister Linky’s Magical Widgets.
Ultreya!
The season of Advent draws to a close. The Solstice has come and gone. Whether in summer or winter, Christmas arrives this Tuesday!

Wrap those presents! Trim that tree! Put on those ugly sweaters and smile as yet another fruitcake appears!

Above all, rejoice! “The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it!”
This week, write the haikai poem of your choice (haiku, senryu, haibun, tanka, haiga, renga, etc.) that states or references Christmas.
As always:
Hereโs how the challenge works:
1. write the haikai poem of your choice.
2. post the link of your post to Mister Linky.
3. pingback by posting the link to the challenge on your site.
4. read and comment on other contributorsโ posts.
Merry Christmas, haijin!
