Our Christmas Tree this year

Here in the Northern Hemisphere, the days begin to lengthen. Celebrate the returning light, then, and enjoy this Holiday season!

This week, write the haikai poem of your choice (haiku, senryu, haibun, tanka, haiga, renga, etc.) that alludes to Christmas, hanukkah or the holiday season in general!

      Hi Merril. To be honest, I didnโ€™t realize it was yours. When I looked in WordPress library, I saw it and figured it was from a contributor to my challenge from last year. I can remove it if youโ€™re uncomfortable with my using it. Otherwise, Iโ€™ll credit you with it. Let me know what youโ€™d prefer.
