Ultreya!
Take a deep breath. Smell that? It’s the aroma of blossoms. It’s the scent of mint, or the stench of skunk-weed. It’s a fragrance carried on the wind.
It’s already mid-may: a little more than a month away from midsummer/midwinter. The breezes come and go, and they carry the scents, stenches and aromas of flora and fauna with them!
This week, write the haikai poem of your choice (haiku, senryu, haibun, tanka, haiga, renga, etc.) that alludes to a fragrant breeze (kunpuu).
As always:
Hereโs how the challenge works:
1. write the haikai poem of your choice.
2. post the link of your post to Mister Linky.
3. pingback by posting the link to the challenge on your site.
4. read and comment on other contributorsโ posts.
Savor the fragrance of the season, haijin!
