Ultreya!
Mid-July already! The heat is still here! We’re expecting temperatures in the 90s F this weekend in my neck of the woods. In fact, the maple and locus trees in my backyard form an enclosure, turning the yard into a meadow, of sorts.
That leads us to our Kigo of the week: summer meadow (natsuno).
This week, write the haikai poem of your choice (haiku, senryu, haibun, tanka, haiga, renga, etc.) that alludes to summer meadow (natsuno).
As always:
Hereโs how the challenge works:
1. write the haikai poem of your choice.
2. post the link of your post to Mister Linky.
3. pingback by posting the link to the challenge on your site.
4. read and comment on other contributorsโ posts.
May you enjoy your summer meadow, wherever you find it, haijin!
