Coyotic Arts: a #Tanka-Prose

Would that I could bend the will of monarchs with the clowning wit of a Court Jester. Would that I could elicit childlike laughter like a circus clown. Would that I could provoke epiphanies like a genuine Holy Fool.

But I’m simply a poet. My words alone will need to be enough to inspire you.

late August breeze

another earworm plays

“The tears of a clown”

more procrastination

before another repair

    I think that in some parts of the world there are no jester to rule the king. The fool is the one ruling and he listens to no one (least of all poets)
