This meandering February ’21: a #TankaProse

Almost three feet of snow on the ground from the last four snowstorms. This February attempts to make up for three years of mild winters. Almost half of the month has passed. Nearly half of the haiku prompts for #NaiHaiWriMo. Almost half of another Black History month.

Valentin’s Day is tomorrow. Another President’s week vacation begins Monday. Mardi-Gras follows, and Ash Wednesday arrives next. Meanwhile, more snow comes, too. And the days of the year’s briefest month continue to fly by.
