Onward!
A few days of spring weather arrives here in the Queen City of the Sound. Blue sky, twittering birds, even more green in the lawns.
And what to my wandering eyes should appear?
Daffodils!
Among the earliest bloomers of spring, the first daffodils on the block begin to shoot up.
Let’s honor them the best way we haijin can!
This week, write the haikai poem of your choice (haiku, senryu, tanka, kyoka, haibun, haiga, renga, etc.) that alludes to the daffodil (Suisen).
As always:
1. write the haikai poem of your choice.
2. post the link of your post to Mister Linky.
3. pingback by posting the link to the challenge on your site.
4. read and comment on other contributors’ posts.
Enjoy the first bloom, haijin!
