The Advent of March

The mad month begins with the aftermath of the Trump ambush of Zelanskyy. Political theater and “good TV” replace principled policy and honorable alliance.

The mad month continues with a Murphy’s Law procession of technical difficulties. A simple file attachment of reasonably-requested documentation becomes a Rubik’s Cube of dysfunction from which I must disentangle.

A hairpin turn of temperature within one day blasphemes hope in an early Spring. What else will unfold at the advent of this mad month? Do I really want to know?

Do you?

There has to be a better way! Perhaps we should skip march each year!

Frank, I like how you formatted this, with the blurb and the assessment. March has to be the most dreary month of all. April has to get better, right?

March is also cerebral palsy awareness month and with the clown heading this show, I’m writing about my education experience.

I like that you didn’t just focus on one thing, Frank. I think the world is going made at the moment. Some of the comments on Facebook are just terrible. I agree about political theater and ‘good TV’ replacing principled policy and honourable alliance. My favourite haiku: ‘chirping birds a mad March hare swallowing tea’.

Frank, your haibun captures March’s unpredictability so well! I love how you blend political, personal, and natural elements in such a seamless way.

    Much love,

I found it hard to understand the madness…. better stick to the weather at the time.

I love that picture! I’m heading down the rabbit hole for a more amenable way of life.
