Fishy Quandries

Would I say yes? If a Galilean rabbi boarded my boat, & had me put out to preach? Then told me drop my nets?

& nearly swamp my boat with netted fish after a fruitless night?

Well, would I?

calling us

“Fishers of men…”

dropped nets

It’s Quadrille #228 over at dVerse, and Mish prompts us to write using variations of the word fish.

Not an easy question to answer theoretically. Thoughtful Q, Frank.

Frank, this one really got me thinking. The question “Well, would I?” lingers like a quiet echo beneath the surface of your haibun—so spare, yet full of depth.

Really enjoyed your quadrille … and how you lay it out on the page encourages slow, thoughtful reading … which I appreciate.
