Gather Foolish Minds: A #Quadrille #haibun

Gather, foolish minds! Never mind the fool saying,

“Mind over matter. I don’t mind, so you don’t matter.”

Gather, you poets! Enscribe in fresh language

that madness we call wisdom.

So gathered, we foolish minds shame the wise!

A gathering around the fire is the best way to begin. I like your take on that!

This is a mind-twister. Multiple reads and there is more to discover. Really enjoy the puzzling aspect of the words folding and unfolding.

Reminds me of the words I used to say as I left for school: “Off to mold young minds or mind young molds.”

This is a very carefree, hedonistic poem. I like your attitude 🙂

Love the phrase…”that madness we call wisdom”. A gathering of poetic “geniuses” around the fire would be very entertaining.
