Amor In Terris: A #TankaProse

What happens when we leave our love on ice?

Does it crystalize, as life-giving moisture yields to physics? Does it persevere within its paralysis? Does it wither-in-place, yet one more frozen relic of a forsaken experience?

What happens when we bring the fire of our desire upon our frozen love?

Can we expect a life-restoring thaw? Will gentleness replace its forced rigidity? Will its abundance flow with newfound vitality? Will it sear in flames from a deluge of that desire?

What would our world be if we all loved?

winter squall

a sudden darkness

comes and goes

the warmth of your face

in my hands

I love how you used rhymes in this… it really gave a nice rhythm… then I always think that if we try to hard to love it might be too much… maybe we just need a bit more acceptance.

Perhaps. Some would say that love begins with acceptance. Thanks! ๐Ÿ˜€
