A sliver between water, where families make their home.

Leave for work. Return home.

Celebrate birthdays, holidays. Live their lives.

Until an inevitable day of packing and moving.

By them, or others.

Great title and an interesting take on the prompt in a haibun-quadrille, Frank. Itโ€™s amazing to think that all that activity can take place on โ€˜a sliver between waterโ€™. I wonder why they moved. I love the tide-turning haiku.

I too like this different take on the prompt. Nicely done poem, Frank.

And so it goes. It is so true our sliver of time. It is so precious to us and yet so infinitely small.
