Incarnating Inspiration

As if there could be any other way. As though muscles on metacarpals, under the muse’s sway, could do anything else…

poeming

this endlessly stretching

blank page

tonight, this white space

just no rhymes, no words

That moment when poet and poem bleed into each other. Who knows where one ends, the other begins?

find a silence

tucked here into me

the space

Inspired by, and re-ordering words (in the tanka and haiku) from, “No Mail -no Post” by Sarah Connor.

You’ve captured the poet in your haibun, Frank, and I love that you used Sarah’s words as a tanka and a haiku.

This post stopped my scrolling through WordPress. You have used the words of Sarah Connor to open up a creative space for new poemings to form. Inspiring!

This certainly gets the poeming going and interweaves Sarah’s lines with all the infinite possibilities other poets can offer.

Wonderful. A clever reworking of Sarah’s lines, Frank…and I like the idea of poet and poem bleeding into one. We are the words we write.

That! That is the moment I aspire to when I’m writing. Thank you for expressing it for me!
