So little to celebrate. Raging wildfires. Persecuted refugees. Genocidal shootings.  A hate-frothing darkness threatens to swallow all. For what can we cheer?


That light shines in the darkness. That Love drives out hate. That we can.

  1. I hope that’s true Frank. I sm losing faith my friend. Below here is a haiku I wrote in hope on September 12, 2001. Sadly, our country is in even more dire straits today. Horrifying!

    one can penetrate
    the pitch black of ignorance
    with love’s single light
