How Jarring!

So many

encounters

with Jar

Jars of Clay

how their songs still echo

Jar-Jar Binks

how one actor’s decision

unraveled him

both actor and character

reviled beyond measure

all the doors

I left ajar

on a jar of

Smucker’s grape jelly

a too-tight lid

I’m late for De Jackson’s Quadrille #205 for dVerse. But better late than never, right?

I love that haunted tiny poem in the middle:

    “all the doors
    I left ajar”

Perfect. Opportunities lost. Things wasted. Hidden in between the other trivial things, this sings.

PS: I loved Jars of Clay and hated Jar-Jar, too. 😉

Thanks, De! I still cringe when I hear, “Missa!”
